It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Just curious guys, so i wanna ask you some questions about your art.
so everyone must have their own idol, right right? and i know we start drawing by copying their style lol

*made this at first to stalk them lol* so yeah. they made me want to draw, though i have no high intention on drawing (until this time pffff)

as for anime/manga i don't know. I copied a lot of style back then and now my style is..err.. odd. lol.
Though i remember i copied a lot of Koge-Donbo's for my so-like-chibi-shoujo thingy and for my so shiny style. sob. i wanna to change it somehow, but using dodge tool is so love XDD

hmmmm I don't know - I know I first started drawing when I was in middle school and loved to trace - it was DNAngel that first got me drawing on my own (still with a reference mind you). As far as idols here on dA~ I'd be hard pressed to pick just one but I really love

i used to try copying Kishimoto Masashi(naruto) and Hiromu Arakawa(full metal alchemist)'s styles during primary 6, and after that i read lots of manga and animes and started to develop my own style
